We offer two types of solar panels – one that generates electricity (photovoltaic) and one that generates hot water (thermal).

Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels

How does it work?
They convert the sun’s solar energy into Direct Current (DC) electricity. An inverter then converts the Direct Current (DC) into Alternating Current (AC) so that the electricity is compatible with household appliances.  Whatever the size of the project, we can provide everything you need in order to meet planning or social responsibility targets.

As it has no moving parts, Solar Photovoltaic (PV) is one of the simplest and most reliable ways of reducing CO2 emissions and keeping your fuel costs down. You can even make money by using these! The Government’s Clean Energy Cashback & Feed in Tariff incentive scheme means that you can sell back any extra power you generate to the electricity supply companies.


Solar Thermal panels

How does it work?
Flat plate collectors capture the energy from the sun’s radiation during daylight hours using the latest collector technology. It provides a highly efficient heat transfer system. This energy can then be used to heat your water. We will assess the building’s demand for hot water and make sure that we match the right panel to your needs so you get the maximum energy benefits.

Other benefits?
Not only is solar energy an unlimited resource, but it produces no harmful CO2 emissions and needs no transportation or supply pipelines. Solar thermal collectors qualify for Renewable Heat Incentive Funding.
