Underfloor heating

Underfloor heating

This provides an efficient, effective and economical way of heating your room at low temperatures. We can help you design the most suitable type of underfloor heating system for your property. All we need to know is: total floor area; whether it’s a new-build or existing property (the age), type of floor and what heat source you have (for example, heat pump, oil boiler).

How does it work?
Water from your boiler (traditional or renewable heat source such as a heat pump or biomass boiler) is pumped around the floor though a series of pipes that are attached to a central manifold.  From there, the heat is transferred into the room via the floor.

Other benefits?
Underfloor heating gives an evenly distributed heat and a high comfort level. What type of floor you have and floor coverings you use can affect the efficiency of the system. If you choose to pipe the floor in screed with a tiled finish you will get a higher heat output at lower temperatures than any other floor type, therefore being the most efficient. Room temperature is easily controlled with a heat pump or room stats.
